While speaking to ANI on May 12, the Chief Minister of Goa, Pramod Sawant spoke on economic package announced by PM Narendra Modi.

He said, "I think the economic package of Rs 20 lakh crores that has been announced by PM Modi will increase economic activities across the country.

I would like to thank him on behalf of the people of Goa." Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced Rs 20 lakh crore special economic package on Tuesday for India to be 'self reliant' and deal with COVID-19.
