Lockdown: 14 migrant workers killed in separate road accidents in UP, MP

At least 14 migrant workers were killed in two separate incidents late Wednesday night in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

In Madhya Pradesh, eight migrant workers were killed in a truck collision.

Labourers were traveling from Maharashtra to Uttar Pradesh.

Nearly 50 people were injured in the accident.

Injured were rushed to a nearby district hospital.

In Uttar Pradesh, six migrant workers were killed and four were injured after a roadways bus ran over them.

The accused bus driver was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol.

The accident happened on Delhi-Saharanpur Highway.
