‘Deploy army’: BJP leader slams Maharashtra govt over rising Covid cases

BJP leader Kirit Somaiya slammed Uddhav Thackeray government in Maharashtra over rising number of Covid-19 cases in the state.

Somaiya said Army should be immediately deployed in areas of Mumbai where the cases of coronavirus are high.

Covid-19 cases in Maharashtra crossed 29,100 as on Friday.

Mumbai accounts for around 60% of all Covid-19 cases in the state.
