Outer space missions to be open for private sector: FM Sitharaman

Centre government has allowed the private sector to use Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) facilities for future projects of planetary exploration and outer space.

"The private sector will be allowed to use ISRO facilities and other relevant assets to improve their capacities.

Future projects for planetary exploration, outer space travel to be open for the private sector," said FM Nirmala Sitharaman, while addressing media about fourth installment of economic package announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the view of coronavirus.
