At Howrah Railway Station in West Bengal workers have chained all trains to the railway tracks in preparation for super cyclone 'Amphan'.

Footage recorded on Tuesday (May 19) shows efforts to avoid or minimise any potential damage.

According to India's Meteorological Department (IMD), the cyclone is moving northeastwards at a speed of 17 kmph.

India's Meteorological Department has issued a "yellow alert" for the region.

This would be the first super cyclonic in the Bay of Bengal since 1999.
