Until now, the couple had insisted they were innocent after being accused of paying $500,000 to get their daughters into the University of Southern California as fake rowing team recruits.

But on Thursday - federal prosecutors said that under plea agreements - Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli have agreed to serve two months and five months in prison, respectively.

While, Giannulli has agreed to pay $250,000.

They are both expected to plead guilty on Friday to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud.

Fellow Hollywood Actress Felicity Huffman, also charged in the scandal, pleaded guilty early on and is finished serving her sentence.

Loughlin and Giannulli had been scheduled to face trial in October alongside other parents.

Previously, their lawyers said the couple believed their money was being used for university donations.
