Water level of Brahmaputra River has risen to 45.00 metre after incessant rainfall in Guwahati.

The water level is increasing day by day due to continuous rainfall in the state.

Central Water Commission Commissioner SC Kalita said, "The water level is rising gradually since 16th May due to continuous rain in the region, it is increasing 1-2 cm every 2-3 hours."
