Eid-ul-Fitar to be celebrated on May 25: Jama Masjid's Shahi Imam

Jama Masjid's Shahi Imam, Syed Ahmed Bukhari announced that Eid-ul-Fitar will be celebrated on May 25 as moon could not be sighted on May 23.

He further requested the people to take precautions and maintain social distancing due to COVID-19 outbreak.

Shahi Imam said, "We should stay away from shaking hands and hugging.

We should follow the guidelines issued by the government to protect ourselves from coronavirus."
