Trying best to supply food, water to all passengers in 'Shramik' special trains: Railway Board

The Chairman of Railway Board, Vinod Kumar Yadav commented on the food and water facilities in the 'Shramik' special trains.

"State governments provided food and water at starting stations.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and Railway Divisions arranged meals and water for migrants at train's en-route" said Vinod Kumar Yadav.

The chairman made this statement over the media reports, that migrant workers are not getting food and water in special trains.

"We are trying our best in resolving issues and supplying food and water to all passengers, despite the difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic," Yadav added.
