‘3,840 special trains operated, 52 lakh passengers moved till now’: Railway

Railway Board Chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav said 3,840 Shramik Special trains have operated to transport 52 lakh passengers till now.

Yadav reiterated that people with medical conditions and pregnant ladies should avoid traveling.

The Board Chairman briefed on how Railway is dealing with the developments and demands through the pandemic.

Yadav also urged to not report fake news and dismissed a report of the train reaching nine days late.
