The group was supposed to be small, police said: About 100 local demonstrators who had hoped to stage a peaceful Sunday afternoon protest in solidarity with Black Lives Matter.
Several Pittsburgh police officers, including chief Scott Schubert, marched with hundreds of protesters down West Liberty Avenue, KDKA's Shelby Cassesse.

Sacramento city leaders, including Mayor Darrell Steinberg and Police Chief Daniel Hahn, marched through the streets of Oak Park joining protesters marching against police brutality.
