Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren planted sapling on the occasion of World Environment Day.

Ceremony was held at Ranchi's Van Bhawan on June 5.

"Today world is talking about environment, I feel it is necessary as it has been affected due to malpractices.

We know Jharkhand is rich in biodiversity.

Government Departments are doing their best for saving environment and we should all participate," CM Soren added.
