Reddit Cofounder Alexis Ohanian Resigns From Company Board

On Friday, Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian announced that he was resigning from the company board.

Ohanian, who is married to tennis star Serena Williams, is urging the company to fill his seat with a Black candidate.

Ohanian said, "I believe resignation can actually be an act of leadership from people in power right now." He said that his family is one of the reasons he decided to step down.
