Car lifter gang busted by police in Rameswaram, 2 arrested

Police busted a car lifter gang in Tamil Nadu's Rameswaram.

Around 21 cars and one motorcycle were seized from the custody of accused.

Two criminals got arrested and rest two are still absconding in the car theft case.

Rameswaram Police booked them under the Vehicle Theft Act.

While speaking to media, Superintendent of Police of Rameswaram, V Varun Kumar said, "Based on confession it has come to light that more than 100 vehicles have been stolen from here and other states.

Case registered, probe is on."

Earlier, Kamala Harris’ niece had also posted pictures on Twitter. Meena Harris said the pictures were sent to her from Tamil Nadu. The picture said ‘PV Gopalan's granddaughter is victorious’.
