'People are scared of stepping out': Restaurant owners struggle after reopening

Restaurants and shops have reopened across country following guidelines amid COVID19 outbreak.

However, eateries are receiving low customers' response.

"Customer's response is quite low.

90% loss has been witnessed due to lockdown," said a shop owner in Delhi.

Another restaurant owner in Delhi expressed unhappiness.

He said, "Response is not good as people are scared to step out of their houses due to rising cases.

Also, as government has imposed restrictions during night, restaurants are witnessing losses because of it.

The best time is dinner time for restaurants." Meanwhile, cafes in Bengaluru are also witnessing slow customer response.

"Business is picking up slowly, people are scared of coming out.

People need to change their mind.

We are taking all precautions," said a restaurant manager in Bengaluru.
