India in touch with UK authorities for early extradition of Vijay Mallya: MEA

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on June 11 said India is planning early extradition of fugitive economic offender Vijay Mallya from United Kingdom (UK).

Spokesperson of MEA, Anurag Srivastava, said, "We have been in touch with the UK authorities for early extradition of Vijay Mallya.

We have also requested the UK side not to consider his asylum if requested by him."
