Indian Meteorological Department Deputy Director Anand Sharma informed that Monsoon may hit Delhi and nearby regions by 25th June.

IMD said, "Currently for 1-2 days Monsoon progress won't take place as conditions are not congenial.

But from From 22nd-24th conditions are favourable for monsoon advancement.

We expect easterlies to strengthen and bring moisture to more parts of Uttar Pradesh and Himalayas."
