#GalwanClash: Govt says 'attempts are being made to give a mischievous interpretation'|Oneindia News

The Delhi government has cancelled the leaves of all employees including doctors and support staff of hospitals under its health department as coronavirus cases in the national capital continue to rise.

Delhi has the third highest number of COVID-19 cases after Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.

Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal has said all COVID-19 patients in the national capital must be quarantined for at least five days at government-run facilities before being allowed to self-isolate at home.

The government today said "attempts are being made to give a mischievous interpretation" to comments made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi after an all-party meeting yesterday on the violent face-off between Indian and Chinese soldiers in eastern Ladakh earlier this week.

The Government said in statement today that As regards transgression of LAC (Line of Actual Control), it was clearly stated that the violence in Galwan on 15 June arose because Chinese side was seeking tostructures just across the LAC and refused to desist from such actions and other news #IndiaChina #GalwanValley
