Despite the surge in other states, the number of COVID-19 cases in Illinois has dropped enough to allow the state to move into Phase 4 of reopening on Friday.
Gov. JB Pritzker said all four regions of Illinois will be able to move to Phase 4 of reopening the economy on Friday, meaning restaurants will be able to allow indoor dining, and many other businesses..
