Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered inaugural address at the 90th birth anniversary celebrations of the Reverend Dr Joseph Mar Thoma Metropolitan, through video conferencing.

Several followers of the Mar Thoma Church from India and abroad took part in the programme."I convey my greetings to him, and I wish him a long life and best health.

Dr Joseph Mar Thoma has devoted his life for the betterment of our society and nation.

He has been particularly passionate about the removal of poverty and women empowerment," said PM.
