A customer said, "All precautions are being taken keeping in mind the spread.

It is good that things are opening up." Currently, the state of Maharashtra has 65,844 active cases of coronavirus.

Barber shops and salons gear up to reopen from June 28 in Mumbai. In view of COVID-19 pandemic, precautionary measures will be taken at the salons to contain the spread of virus. Salon owner said, "We will record customers' temperatures and provide them with hand sanitisers when they enter our shop. We will use new towel and haircut seat for each customer." Maharashtra has 65844 active cases of coronavirus as of now.

On July 05, India reported the highest single-day spike of 24,850 new COVID-19 cases and 613 deaths in the last 24 hours. As of now, positive cases stand at 6,73,165 including 2,44,814 active cases, 4,09,083 cured/discharged/migrated and 19,268 deaths. Maharashtra being the worst affected state recorded over 2 lakh confirmed cases. According to Ministry of Health, total confirmed cases in Maharashtra is 2,00,064. According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total number of samples tested up to July 4 is 97,89,066 of which 2,48,934 samples were tested on July 04.
