Over 30 flapshell turtles were found dead under mysterious circumstances at a lake in Kamla Nagar, Vadodara.
The carcasses were seen by a local who was taking a morning walk.
He informed authorities who rushed to the spot to retrieve the turtles.
Post mortems have been conducted and authorities are waiting for the reports to ascertain the cause of their death.
