Assam floods: Kaziranga National Park, Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary severely affected

Wildlife has been severely affected by floods in Assam.

Floods have hit Assam’s Kaziranga National Park, Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary and Manas National Park.

Parimal Suklabaidya, State Minister of Environment and Forest informed that a rhinoceros died due to the floods.

He said, “We're trying to put together the rescue teams in place.” Over a million people have been affected in Assam’s 23 districts.
