Extremely heavy rainfall expected in parts of Gujarat: IMD Ahmedabad

Informing about the weather conditions, Ahmedabad's Meteorological Department Director, Jayanta Sarkar, on July 07 said that extremely heavy rainfall is expected in Jamnagar, Dwarka and Kutch districts of Gujarat.

"Extremely heavy rainfall is expected in Jamnagar, Dwarka and Kutch.

Very heavy rainfall will lash Gir Somnath, Junagarh, Porbandar and Rajkot.

Almost all the districts in Saurashtra will receive heavy rainfall today," he said.

Meanwhile, a team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) rescued two people stuck in the Und river catchment area in Jamnagar district due to continuous rainfall.
