Demand for oximeters goes up in Chandigarh amid coronavirus
There has been a surge in the demand for oximeters, a device used to measure the level of oxygen in the blood.
The sale of oximeters in Chandigarh has increased amid COVID-19 outbreak.
Since the lack of oxygen in one's body is seen as a major symptom of novel coronavirus, people have been increasingly using the device to monitor oxygen saturation level in their body while at home.
While speaking to ANI, the president of Chandigarh Chemists Association, Amarjeet Singh said, "People are demanding oximeters more as compared to last few months due to coronavirus situation.
The cost of these oximeters are around Rs 1400."
