Newlywed couples gathered at Durgiana Temple in Amritsar to celebrate traditional 'Sawan' festival on July 19.

Women adorned themselves with jewelleries made of flowers.

Every year, newlywed couples visit Durgiana Temple to seek blessings from lord for their future.

"It's our tradition to dress up with flowers.

We feel happy after wearing flowers jewellery.

God fulfils every newly wedded couple wish who visit here," a newly bride told ANI.

Sawan is one of the holiest months in the year as per the Hindu calendar.
