Khadi Village Industries Board provides employment to youth under PMEGP in Pulwama

Khadi Village Industries Board (KVIB) under Prime Minister's Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) is helping unemployed educated youth of Pulwama district of South Kashmir.

PMEGP is a flagship program of the central government with an aim to generate sustainable employment for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Under this program, unemployed educated youth are being provided loans with subsidies to start their own businesses and in this regard many business units have been established at Pulwama.
