Border Security Force (BSF) seized goods worth Rs 46.5 lakhs from a wagon which were being smuggled to Bangladesh at Gede railway station. It was seized during checking a goods train going to Darshana in Bangladesh from Gede in India.

A man died at a quarantine centre in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua allegedly by heart attack hours before his release after testing negative for COVID-19. The people at the quarantine centre protested after the death of the inmate. According to Kathua Deputy Commisioner, "A magisterial probe has been ordered into his death." The body has been shifted to the mortuary and probe has been ordered.
A Pakistani spy drone was shot down by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in Kathua's Pansar on June 20. The incident took place at about 5:10 am. Weapons were also recovered from the Pakistani drone shot down.
