NDRF rescues villagers, livestock in Assam's flood-affected areas

The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams have carried out rescue operation in flood-affected areas in Assam.

The teams evacuated villagers and livestock and transported them to safer places from flood-affected areas of Dighirpam Bazar in Barpeta district on July 27.

More than 100 people have also lost their lives in the flood-related incidents in Assam.

16 teams of NDRF have been deployed in the state.
