The UP cabinet has given its nod for the formation of a CISF-like special force in the state for the protection of installations like the metro rail, courts, monuments as well as religious sites.
Uttar Pradesh is home to sensitive religious places at Ayodhya, Mathura, Varanasi as well as the world famous heritage site of Taj Mahal in Agra.
