Coronavirus in numbers: UK confirmed deaths at 46,193
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) said 46,193 people had died inhospitals, care homes and the wider community after testing positive forcoronavirus in the UK as of 5pm on Friday.
The Government said 41,501 people had died in the UK within 28 days of testingpositive for Covid-19 as of Sunday, an increase of two on the day before.
