A video of Yoga guru Ramdev falling off an elephant while performing yoga has gone viral. The incident reportedly took place in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura during a yoga camp. The short clip shows Ramdev performing an asana while sitting on the elephant. The animal then makes a sudden move which causes Ramdev to lose his balance and fall off. However, Ramdev can be seen standing up immediately and laughing the whole thing off. The video has been widely shared on social media, garnering several reactions. Earlier on October 12, Ramdev had shared photographs from the yoga camp.

In the wake of surge in COVID-19 cases in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh has decided to test people coming from national capital via flight, bus or train, informed state Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari on November 22. He said, "We are testing people coming from Delhi via flight, bus or train, in the wake of surge in COVID-19 cases in the national capital. We are discussing on the number of people allowed to attend wedding or event."
Preparations for the 'Deepotsav' is underway in Ayodhaya. The city bathed in lights, festivities and glee for the upcoming Diwali celebrations. Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department aims to beat their own record of lighting the maximum numbers of earthen lamps. Over 5 lakh earthen lamps are likely to be lit in this year's Deepotsav. It will be the first since the verdict in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute came.
Ahead of Deepotsav, preparations of Shobha Yatra is underway in Ayodhya. More than 100 workers dedicated for the preparation of 11 tableaus. Colourful tableau and various traditional dances are performed at the Shobha Yatra. The yatra will be followed by the Deepotsav on the Ram Janmabhoomi site. One of the workers said, "The tableau will be prepared by November 12-13. 70% of the work has been done."
