'LeT's top terrorist from north Kashmir killed in Baramulla encounter': J&K DGP

Two terrorists involved in Baramulla attack were gunned down by security forces.

The encounter started after security forces chased terrorists following attack.

Terrorists had fired at a joint CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police naka party.

"Two terrorists killed in ongoing operation in Baramulla.

One of the slain terrorists was Sajjad Haider.

Haider was LeT's top terrorist in north Kashmir.

Haider was also among the top 10 terrorists in J&K.

Anatula Mir, another terrorist was also killed.

It is suspected that the third terrorist is Osman.

Osman is LeT's north zone commander from Pakistani side," Singh informed.

Two CRPF jawans and one J&K cop were martyred in the attack, earlier in the day.

The incident took place in the Kreeri area of Baramulla.

Security forces cordoned off the area following the attack.

This is the second attack on security forces in Kashmir in last three days.

On August 14, two cops were killed, another injured in Srinagar's Nowgam in a similar attack.
