Watch: Contractual health workers protest in Siliguri over delay in salaries

Contractual health workers staged a protest in Siliguri on Monday.

The health workers, working under Siliguri Municipal Corporation, protested over the release of their salaries.

The workers, during the protest, said they have been doing door-to-door surveys during Covid-19 but await payment.

Some even alleged that they don’t know how much they will be paid.

The protest was staged outside the civic body office.
