Roads blocked due to landslide in Uttarakhand's Dharchula
Road between Tawaghat and Darma valley in Dharchula town of Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh district remained blocked due to landslide following incessant rainfall.
Locals had complained that their normal life is affected due to closure of the road.
While speaking to ANI, the SDM of Dharchula, Anil Kumar Shukla said, "Work is on.
Road will be cleared within 5-6 days.
Several roads are blocked in the district due to incessant rainfall this year." "Houses are damaged and people have died.
We are carrying out operations to clear roads.
Road from Tawaghat to Darma valley is blocked," he added.
