India records 1,133 Covid-19 deaths with 75,809 cases reported in 24 hours|Oneindia News

As India battles the Coronavirus Pandemic, 75,809 coronavirus cases and 1,133 virus-related deaths were recorded in thelast 24 hours.

Though the daily cases saw a decline from over 90,000 cases for two consecutive days, the country's Covid deaths number today is the highest so far.

Being the second worst hit country, India's Covid tally has reached 42,80,442.

The active cases stand at About 8.83 lakh with the recovery rate at 77.6 per cent this morning.

Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh are the worst-hit states.

These five states account for over 62 per cent of the active cases.

Maharashtra which still accounts for nearly a quarter of the new daily cases reported 16,429 new cases and 423 deaths, taking the total number of cases to 9,23,641.
