As early trends showed BJP leading in recently-concluded Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections, party MP D Arvind said that it is clear that people want change. "The transformation has started in the state of Telangana. You have seen Lok Sabha election results then Dubbaka by-election and now GHMC. This is expected. This is a paper-ballot elections so let us wait till the evening, but it is clear message to TRS that Telangana people and GHMC people have given that they want a change here. People have decided to vote for a change and decided that Mr Modi's leadership and a non-corrupt government is required in the state of Telangana," said BJP MP D Arvind. On the occasion of International Day of Disabled Persons, a one-of-its-kind cricket tournament was held in Madhya Pradesh. A wheelchair cricket tournament was organised in Indore by state's Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Department and district administration. The competition was held among teams from Indore, Ujjain and Bhopal. The match was of 10 overs with each team comprising 11 players. One of the participants said, "I have been playing for Madhya Pradesh since 2016. I have completely dedicated myself to the cause of the disabled. I want to say those suffering disabilities to not let the disability overcome you." The International Day of Disabled Persons is observed on December 03 every year.
As farmers' protest entered day 10 on December 05, Uttar Pradesh Congress president Ajay Kumar Lallu reached Ghazipur border (UP-Delhi border) to support their protest against the new farm laws. "This govt is anti-farmer. We demand that the news laws be withdrawn," he said.

Chhattisgarh government has announced that it will ensure admission of students, who have qualified National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) but failed to register for counselling, into private medical institutions. A minimum of Rs 10 lakh will be spent on a student by the state government under this initiative. Speaking to media, a student Padma said, "I thank the government for this decision." Speaking to ANI, Dantewada DM, Deepak Soni said, "According to the instructions of the Chief Minister, the government will ensure admission of the students, who qualified NEET but couldn't register themselves, into private colleges and bear the expense of their education."
