MSPCA seeking homes for dozens of surrendered birds

MSPCA-Angell is overwhelmed with massive back-to-back bird surrenders.

Last week, 49 birds, including lovebirds, parakeets and more, were rescued from a Norfolk County home.

The owner -- too overwhelmed to handle their care -- they are health and ready for adoptions Back in August, officials removed 87 chickens from a Webster farm.

Some of the chickens were in rough shape, and the MSPCA is working to get them healthy for adoption.
