Addressing a national webinar on creating awareness on National Education Policy, 2020, the senior Minister said, "The mother tongue and local language have been given importance in the new education policy.
Our mother tongue is not only a way of expression but also an easy medium to learn." "We are one of the youngest countries in the world.
Our youth is the power through which we can achieve the biggest of targets.
Identifying this power, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid emphasis on youth in all fields," he added.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh slammed Pakistan without naming it. He said that Nations who can't defend its sovereignty, their condition is like India's neighbouring country. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman commented on the protests by farmers against 3 recent agricultural reforms. Speaking at the 18th edition of the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, the minister said that the government had done adequate homework before formulating the 3 laws, and she was glad that the agriculture minister was in talks with the protesting farmers to address their concerns.
