A massive haul of Class A drugs has been stopped from hitting UK streets afteran international operation led by the National Crime Agency.
More than a tonneof Class A drugs – 1,196kg of heroin and morphine derivatives – were recoveredfrom container ship the Sembawang after it docked at the port of Felixstowe.National Crime Agency investigators developed intelligence and knew the drugswould be on the vessel when it docked in the UK en route to Antwerp.
