Farmers protest: Punjab CM meets farm unions; ‘rail roko’ enters 6th day

Protests in Punjab intensified as rail roko agitation entered the 6th day in Amritsar on Tuesday.

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh met representatives of farmers’ union in Chandigarh.

CM assured the state government’s support to farmers.

Farmers have been protesting against the new farm laws alleging that it will affect the Minimum Support Price (MSP) system.
