Karnataka's old age home taking special care of inmates amid COVID-19

This old age home in Karnataka's Kalaburagi is taking special care of all the senior citizens amid coronavirus fear.

Not a single case of COVID-19 has been reported at Mahadevi Tai Mahila Vidya Vardhaka Sangha old age home since last 8 months.

While speaking to ANI, Neelambika the superintendent of the old age home said that the administration is taking all necessary precautions."We are running this old age home for past 25 years.

There are 30 people and all of them are over 60 years of age.

We have given them masks and hand santisers." "We are not allowing people from outside.

We are taking care of them and are always available for them.

We regularly call doctors to do their health checkup.

There are no COVID-19 patients here and there has not been a single case of COVID-19 reported here from past 8 months," she added.

Karnataka has reported 1,12,800 cases of coronavirus so far.
