A complaint has been filed against Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. The complaint was filed at Gaya Civil Court in Bihar for her alleged remarks on Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP) leader Upendra Kushwaha. Speaking to media, lawyer of Gaya Civil Court, Kumar Shambhu Prasad said, "It is a crime to make derogatory comments against any leader. So, we have asked court to take cognizance of our complaint." A post was shared by Kangana on her Twitter handle in the first week of this month (December 03), which included a picture of Upendra Kushwaha's election meeting. The leaders involved in this picture were said to be members of the gang in pieces (Tukde Tukde Gang). The biggest leader in the picture is Upendra Kushwaha, whose picture is written in 'Azad Kashmir'. Similarly, other leaders were also added in poster with names like Lutyens Liberal, Jihadi, Khalistani and Urban Naxal.
Two girls from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), who had inadvertently crossed into the Indian side in Poonch on December 06, have been repatriated from Chakkan Da Bagh crossing point on December 07. One of the girls, Laiba Zabair said, "We lost our way and entered Indian Territory. We feared that Army personnel will beat us up but they treated us in a very good manner. We had thought that they would not allow us to go back but today we are being sent home. People are very good here."
Indian Army Chief General MM Naravane lashed out at Pakistan over its continued support to terrorists. Speaking at the Army Day celebration, the Army Chief said that Indian forces have been giving a stern response to provocations at the border and added that around 300 to 400 terrorists are waiting across the border to infiltrate into India. 2016's surgical strike continues to haunt Pakistan. Pakistan has claimed that "India is planning surgical strike to divert attention from its 'domestic troubles'". Pakistan Foreign Minister Qureshi claimed that Islamabad has 'credible inputs'. Qureshi's made startling claims during press conference in Abu Dhabi on December 18. "An important development has cropped up [...] I've learned through our intelligence forces [...] that India is planning a surgical strike against Pakistan," Pakistan's news outlet Dawn quoted Qureshi. His claims come days after two Pakistan Army soldiers were killed along the Line of Control (LoC) opposite Naushera sector in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district by the Indian Army while retaliating to ceasefire violation by the Pakistan. Qureshi made similar claims in April 2019 when he had said Pakistan has "reliable intelligence" that India will attack. In 2016, days after Pakistani terrorists attacked the Indian Army at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir, Indian Army conducted a surgical strike across Line of Control in Pakistan occupied Kashmir and destroyed launch pads completely, killing many terrorists.

During the Army Day celebrations on January 15, Indian Army Chief General MM Naravane told that over 200 terrorists near LoC and in counter-terrorism operations in last year. "Around 300-400 terrorists are sitting in training camps near the border to infiltrate into the Indian territory. Number of ceasefire violations went up by 44 per cent last year, which shows the nefarious intentions of Pakistan. J and K Police and security forces recovered arms and ammunitions during a joint operation at a village in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch. A pistol, grenades and live cartridges were recovered.
