Crops in Andhra Pradesh's Vijayawada were damaged after water level of Krishna River rose due to heavy rainfall in the region.

Speaking on the dreadful situation, Krishna District Magistrate said, "Krishna river is getting an unprecedented influx of water.

We're evacuating low lying areas and deploying NDRF and SDRF teams."
