Speaking to ANI in Patna on October 27, the Minister of State (MoS) for Home Affairs and Member of Parliament (MP) from Bihar's Ujiyarpur, Nityanand Rai spoke on upcoming Bihar polls and Tejashwi Yadav. Rai said, "There is no question of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) forming government as National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will form government with 2/3rd majority and Nitish Kumar will become Bihar CM," he added.
Congress president Sonia Gandhi spoke in Delhi on October 27 ahead of Bihar polls. Gandhi said, "There is quality, talent, strength and power of constructing in Bihar's hands. But unemployment, migration, inflation, starvation gave them tears and blisters." "Words that can't be said have to be said with tears. Governments can't be formed on the basis of fear and crime," she added.

The BJP has released its manifesto for the upcoming Bihar Assembly Election and the focus seems to be on jobs, healthcare and the education sector. The manifesto was released by Union Finance Minister and BJP leader Nirmala Sitharaman and senior leaders Bhupender Yadav, Nityanand Rai, Ashwini Choubey, and Pramod Kumar. The BJP promised to provide free Covid vaccination to all in the state once it was developed. The manifesto comes a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi hits the campaign trail. The BJP's manifesto speaks about the Prime Minister's vision of making 'Atmanirbhar Bihar'. The party has also promised to provide medical, engineering and technical education in Hindi and promised to appoint 3 lakh new teachers across different levels in the next year. This comes as the Mahagathbandhan in its manifesto has promised 10 lakh jobs in its very first cabinet meet if elected to power. Bihar will vote in three phases between October 28th and November 7th. The BJP has snubbed Chirag Paswan’s overtures to the party yet again. Responding to Chirag Paswan’s ‘Hanuman of Modi’ remark, BJP leader Bhupender Yadav said that the LJP Chief should not harbor any illusions. Yadav said that the BJP is contesting polls with JDU as an ally and their Chief Ministerial face is Nitish Kumar. Earlier, BJP, which is contesting on 121 seats in the state, had refered to LJP as a ‘vote katua’ party which will not be able to make much impact in the elections. The LJP had quit the NDA in Bihar on October 4 saying it will contest the state assembly poll on its own and not under the alliance's chief minister face and JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar. Chirag Paswan has also said that he is committed to forming a BJP-LJP government in the state after the polls. BJP National General Secretary Bhupender Yadav on October 17 while addressing a press conference clarified that Chirag Paswan should not harbour an illusion Nitish Kumar is our Chief Ministerial candidate. "BJP is very clear, LJP is not a part of our alliance. We want to tell Chirag Paswan that he should not harbour an illusion. BJP-JD(U) are fighting the election and Nitish Kumar ji will be the chief minister," said Yadav.

Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar was detained by police on October 26 after he reached Siddipet where searches were conducted at locations related to BJP's Dubbaka by-poll candidate Raghunandan Rao, and seized Rs 18.67 lakh. BJP workers alleged that police brought money in a bag to plant it at the location. Dubbaka by-poll is scheduled on November 03.
Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman released BJP's manifesto for Bihar Assembly elections in Patna on October 22. BJP come up with '11 sankalp' in their party's manifesto. Addressing the mediapersons, Finance Minister Sitharaman said, "Bihar is one state where all citizens are politically sensitive and well informed. They know and understand the promises a party makes. If anyone raises questions on our manifesto, we can answer them with confidence as we fulfil what we promised." Bihar will go for three-phased elections beginning from October 28 and the result will be declared on November 10.
Ahead of Bihar assembly polls, state BJP chief Sanjay Jaiswal on October 06 said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is the leader of NDA in the state, and whoever accepts his leadership will be part of NDA 'gathbandhan'. He said, "Nitish Kumar is the leader of NDA in Bihar, all talks in Bihar 'gathbandhan' are being held under his leadership. BJP accepts his leadership in the state, whoever accepts Nitish Kumar leadership will be part of NDA 'gathbandhan'." Earlier, LJP (Lok Janshakti Party) announced to go solo in the ensuing assembly elections in Bihar. The Bihar assembly polls will be held in three phases on October 28, November 3, and November 7, and the counting of votes will take place on November 10.
