Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed a public rally in Umaria on November 25. He said, "I will not let anyone to exploit tribal community. I will not allow 'Love Jihad' on the soil of Madhya Pradesh at any cost. One needs to stay aware from such people.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan celebrated 'Gopashtami' in Agar Malwa district today. He also informed that around 2,000 new cow shelters will be constructed by state government. "There are around 7 lakh to 8 lakh stray cattle in Madhya Pradesh. The state government will construct around 2,000 new cow shelters. Not all of the cow shelters will be run by the govt but NGOs will also be operating them," said Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
BJP leader Imarti Devi got a setback after she lost Dabra assembly seat in Madhya Pradesh by-polls to Congress' Suresh Raje. On the by-poll results, Imarti Devi said, "I have not lost, I have just not won a seat. The BJP is still going strong and I'm happy that Shivraj Singh Chouhan ji will now be able to complete his remaining term unfettered, with an absolute majority."

Former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath on November 01 again clarified his remarks wherein he referred BJP leader Imarti Devi as 'item' and said it wasn't to insult anyone and I told earlier that I regret it. He said, "I have been in the Lok Sabha for so many years, our seat comes on which it is written, item number-1, number-2, number-3, I am familiar with this language. I did not say anything to insult anyone and I regret that."
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra on November 24 lambasted on former chief minister of MP Kamal Nath over alleged corruption charge and said that he committed crime by looting money of MP's poor people. "Kamal Nath has committed a heinous crime by looting the money of MP's poor people. Our govt will take note of this corruption and consult specialists as well as the Income Tax Department. We're contemplating action in corruption cases through EOW," said Home Minister Mishra.
After recent trends of Madhya Pradesh by-poll results showed that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading over Congress in the state, party leader Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the results have proved that Kamal Nath and Digvijaya Singh are the traitors. "I am a worker of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). I am thankful to the people of the state for giving a clear mandate in favour of the party. The results have proven that Kamal Nath and Digvijaya Singh are the traitors," said Scindia to ANI on November 10. On allegations by Congress over 'EVM', Scindia further said, "It has become a habit of Congress to deny the people's mandate by questioning credibility of EVMs. If they keep doing so, they'll remain in the same place where they are or maybe worse."
In what can be seen as true example of 'where there's a will, there's a way', a tea seller's son from Bhopal has cracked the JEE Advanced 2020, and has been selected for IIT Kanpur. Anmol Ahirwar, whose father runs a small tea stall in a slum area of Maharana Pratap Nagar in Bhopal, has beaten all odds to qualify for the prestigious institute. Anmol credited his parents for his achievements, saying without them, he would not have been able to reach the academic heights. "My teachers inspired me to go for the IITs, but it was my parents who really motivated me. They continuously made efforts to never make me feel about their own difficulties," Anmol told ANI. Along with his father's tea stall, Anmol's mother runs a paan shop, and has been instrumental in his success. "My father has a tea stall and my mother runs a paan shop, and their monthly contribution is Rs 7000-8000 maximum. [But] they never asked me to help in their business or support them financially. They just told me to focus on my studies, and always assured me to continue my education." Anmol added. Anmol also thanked his older brother who is currently studying mechanical engineering, 2nd year from a private college. Anmol's older brother also earned scholarship for being a bright student.

Union minister Smriti Irani took on All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi over the issue of 'love jihad', a conspiracy to convert Hindu women as alleged by some Hindutva groups. A day earlier, the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh promulgated an ordinance to nullify marriages solemnised with the primary purpose of converting the bride. It also has provisions to punish 'unlawful' religious conversion. Other BJP-ruled states like Haryana, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka are also mulling similar laws. Owaisi had called the law violative of the Constitution and a diversionary tactic by BJP. Irani said all Indians should hail legislation aimed at protecting women and their rights. Police in Madhya Pradesh's Mandsaur took out a procession of prized history-sheeter Amjad Lala's aides, after he shot at a cop. Police thrashed the miscreants in front of the people. Amjad Lala, a prized history-sheeter of Rs 15,000 fired on Thana Incharge who came to arrest him and then escaped on November 23. The incident took place in Belari village. The mortal remains of senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel were brought to Sardar Patel Hospital in his hometown of Bharuch in Gujarat on November 25. The veteran Congress leader, a confidante of party's interim president Sonia Gandhi, passed away in the wee hours of November 25, his son Faisal Patel confirmed on Twitter. Ahmed Patel had tested positive for coronavirus around a month back, and was undergoing treatment at a Gurugram hospital. The seasoned leader died due to multi-organ failure. From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Sonia Gandhi, almost every political leader condoled Ahmed Patel's death. PM Modi called him a person with "sharp mind" and someone who "strengthened" the Congress party. Whereas Sonia Gandhi said she has lost an "irreplaceable comrade" in Ahmed Patel.
