Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with Chief Ministers via video-conferencing on Nov 24. PM Modi said "Seeing good recovery rates, many think virus is weak and they'll recover soon, this has lead to rampant carelessness. Those working on vaccine are doing it but we need to focus on ensuring that people are alert and transmission is curbed. We have to bring positivity rate under 5%." He further said, "Vaccine distribution strategy will be chalked out in collective coordination with states. States must also start working on cold storage facilities."
Congress general secretary Avinash Pande on October 03 said that all components of UPA have decided to come together as coalition for Bihar Assembly elections, and will contest the upcoming polls under the leadership of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. Akhtarul Iman said, "Oath is taken as per the Constitution which mentions 'Bharat' everywhere. I wanted to know whether it's okay to say 'Hindustan' or shall I say 'Bharat' during oath-taking today. We are lawmakers, we should place the Constitution above all."

According to one of the sellers in Lucknow, customers are demanding made in India products this festival, and are ignoring Chinese products. Amid the border tension at Line of Actual Control in Ladakh between India and China, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his silence on the matter."Did you hear him say anything on China, have you heard him say the word China over the last couple of months? Why do you think he's not saying it, because he doesn't want to take the attention of the people of this country to face that China has occupied our land. The Chinese has occupied 1200 square kilometer of our territory. I ask the Prime Minister when you are planning to remove the Chinese from Bharat Mata's territory? That is the most important issue right now," said Rahul Gandhi. Several rounds of diplomatic and military talks between the two countries have yet to yield a solution over border dispute.
