Veteran attempts world record endurance event on London Eye

An Army veteran is ending his gruelling 10-day triathlon challenge from insidea pod on the London Eye.

Former soldier Darren Hardy, 35, who served in theBritish Army for 15 years, took on the challenge to raise funds for the HelpFor Heroes charity.

He is set to achieve two endurance records as thechallenge wraps up – the longest endurance event in the London Eye and thehighest endurance cycle in London, having previously taken on 112 miles fromThe Shard at 800ft.
