COVID-19: Chandigarh hospital starts mobile vans for rapid testing

To combat COVID-19 spread in festive season, Chandigarh Government Multi-Specialty Hospital (GMSH), Sector 16, has started mobile van testing facility.

They are sending mobile testing vans to different locations.

"On an average, our each team get 100 samples on daily basis, we have five teams, working across the city.

We are getting good response, as people find the option more practical and can get tested near home, otherwise they have to go hospital, which is more crowded (prone to virus)," said Medical Office, Rachna Khanna.

Hospital is providing mobile Rapid Antigen Testing for COVID-19 facility across the city from last two weeks.

Through this, patients get reports within half an hour.
