Union Civil Aviation (Independent Charge) Minister Hardeep Singh Puri reacted on reports about Pakistan transferring management and maintenance of Gurudwara Kartarpur to non-Sikh body.
He said that if Pakistan government has done it then it should be condemned in strongest possible way.
He said, "As representatives of Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee, there have been removed and members of ISI have been put." Earlier in the day, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee delegation led by President Manjinder Singh Sirsa MEA Joint Secretary (PAI) met JP Singh over the issue.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid foundation stone of two metro-rail projects on January 18. These two metro rail projects include Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-II and Surat Metro Rail Project. The first consignment of Serum Institute of India's COVID19 vaccine 'Covishield' dispatched from Pune airport on Jan 12. The Air India, SpiceJet and IndiGo Airlines operated nine flights from Pune with 56.5 lakh doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Union Civil Aviation Minister, Hardeep Singh Puri said, "Today, Air India, SpiceJet and IndiGo Airlines will operate 9 flights from Pune with 56.5 lakh doses to Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Shillong, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Bengaluru, Lucknow and Chandigarh."
Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri congratulated the women pilot and women cockpit crew which operated the inaugural flight between San Francisco and Bengaluru. "I was tracking the flight, they have made the country proud," said Puri. The successful flight which flew over the North Pole lasted for more than 17 hours. It was also the first-ever longest commercial flight in the world operated by all-women pilot. The crew consisted of Captain Zoya Agarwal, Captain Papagari Thanmai, Captain Akanksha Sonawane, and Captain Shivani Manhas.

The members of Indo Canadian Kashmir Forum and Hindu Forum Canada organized a LED Truck advertisement campaign across many cities of Greater Toronto areas to commemorate Kashmiri Hindu Genocide, the hands of Pakistan's militant attacks on January 19, 1990. A truck with billboards on three sides started its campaign from Canada's most populous Province Ontario's legislative Assembly. Thirty one years ago, minority Hindus living in Kashmir valley, also known as Kashmiri Pandits, faced ethnic cleansing as they were forced out of their lands by pro-Pakistan Islamist insurgents. Recalling the horrors faced by the community, Canadian Hindus urge the Canadian Governments to lodge a motion in the parliament against Pakistan's terrorist acts. Canadian Conservative MP, Bob Saroya, issued a statement and urged the International community to take effective measures to prevent this and similar types of crimes against humanity. The Truck went outside Toronto City Hall and stayed there for an hour. Then the Truck headed towards Pakistan Consulate office in City of Vaughan and recorded their protest against Pakistani Terrorism. Later the Truck headed towards Cities of Brampton and Mississauga offices and stayed outside over an hour at each place. The truck travelled over 60 kilometre along busy streets of Greater Toronto Areas. Thousands of Canadians watched clear message "Kashmiri Hindus Exist despite Pakistani Terror". For the first time, the truck was also stationed in front of various prominent Gurudwaras of Toronto to express solidarity with Sikhs who have also been victim of cross border terrorism.

A Sikh 'jatha' from India will leave for Nankana Sahib in Pakistan on November 27. They will leave ahead of the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Dev's 551st birth anniversary. Sikh 'jatha' will leave from Punjab's Amritsar today. This year, the 551st birth anniversary of the Sikhism founder will be marked on November 30. Speaking to ANI, a 'jatha' member and devotee, Laxman Singh said, "We will pray to Guru Maharaj to end this COVID-19 pandemic, so that we can also visit Kartarpur Sahib freely."
India is supplying COVID-19 vaccines being manufactured in the country to neighbouring countries including Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Myanmar and Bangladesh but has not received any request from Pakistan. Addressing the weekly media briefing, Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said there is an interest in accessing vaccines from India, which is the global hub of vaccine production. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had stated that India's vaccine production and delivery capacity will be used for the benefit of all humanity to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. "I am not aware of any request for the supply of Indian-made vaccines to Pakistan on a G2G basis or commercial basis," Srivastava said answering a query. Watch the full video for more details.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Spokesperson Anurag Srivastava on January 22 said that he is not aware of any request either G2G or commercial basis by Pakistan for Indian made vaccines. "I am not aware of any request for the supply for Indian made vaccines by Pakistan on a Government to Government or commercial basis," said MEA Spokesperson.
Mortal remains of Havaldar Nirmal Singh arrived at his native place in Ambala on January 22. Singh lost his life during ceasefire by Pakistan along Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district in January 21. The Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked firing along the LoC in the Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch. Havaldar Nirmal Singh of the 10 JAK Rifles unit of the Army was critically injured in the firing and succumbed to injuries.

US President-elect Joe Biden and VP-elect Kamala Harris extended wishes on Guru Nanak Jayanti. Biden and Harris released a joint statement to send wishes on Nanak's 551st birth anniversary. The duo thanked Sikhs for opening Gurudwaras, serving meals to those in need amid pandemic. Earlier, Harris took to Twitter to wish 'Sikh friends' across the US and around the world on the occasion. Canadian PM Justin Trudeau also issued a statement on Nanak's birth anniversary. Trudeau said Guru Nanak Dev's birth anniversary was an important day for Sikh Canadians. "This cake measures 40 feet and it weighs 550 kg. Last year also on 550th anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev we baked the cake, this year we decided to do it once again," said owner of National Bakers.

The reflection of the glittering temple fell on the 'Sarovar', the sacred pond and fireworks went up in the air this evening. A large chunk of devotees visited the Golden Temple to celebrate the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji. The temple glowed with illuminated candles and earthen lamps (Diya).
